Barbara H. Wright, 79, of Bowling Green formerly of Russellville passed away on March 24, 2026 at Select Medical Hospital in Nashville. She was born April 12, 1946, to the late Pete & Ruby Hinson. She is survived by her husband Fred “Freddy” Wright of Bowling Green, son Chad Wright (Margret) of Cumming, GA, daughter Courtney Lav (David) of Anchorage, KY, grandchildren Braxton Wright, Bennett Wright, Thomas Lav, Grace Lav, Jack Lav, & great grandchild Parker Lav. Barbara was a member of the Methodist Temple, taught school in Lewisburg for 25 years, & 1 year in Adairville. She earned her Master's Degree at WKU and her undergrad at Murray State. She was deeply respected as a teacher and friend. She loved her family and was super proud of her Grandchildren. When her and Fred retired, they spent 7 years in Naples before coming back to KY. Visitation will be on Saturday April 11, 2026 from 10am – 11am with a service from 11:30 to 12:30 with a reception following at the Methodist Temple of Russellville.
