Bertha Mae Morris, 74, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at the Hospice House of Bowling Green.  She was born on March 18, 1950 to the late Thomas Kees & Gladys Buckner.  She is also preceded in death by her son Kilas Morris, brother Thomas "Feedie" Kees, brother James "Slick" Kees, brother Ronald "Red" Kees, sister Mary Grinter, & brother Herbert Buckner.  She is survived by her daughter Stella Kees of Russellville, daughter Freda Downey (Michael) of Franklin, daughter Janice Morris of Russellville, son Frank Morris III "Bubba" of Russellville, sister Joyce Fields of Louisville, sister Mattie Bailey of Russellville, brother Bobby Kees of Rockfield, brother Timothy Kees of Russellville, brother Alvin Kees of Russellville, brother-in-law James "Popsicle" Grinter of Russellville, grandchildren; Tiara Halcomb, Raeneka Downey, Shatori Kees, & Sharaya Booze,  Great Grandchildren; Zay'Vionna Downey, Amari Graves, Tyree Graves, Jordan Riley, Jayla Silwer, great grandchildren; Exavion Boggs Downey & Exavior Boggs Downey, and a host of nieces, nephews, & cousins.  Bertha loved her family and worked as a stocker at Walmart.  She was a people watcher, loved going to yard sales, and spending time with family and friends.  Visitation will be on Friday March 14, 2025 from 11am to 1pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with services at 1pm with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.   Repass will be at eh KP Hall and food can be dropped off after 10am.
