Damien Gabriel Joseph Karpinski, 75, of Bowling Green passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2026 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born on February 27, 1951 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Leonard & Leocadia Karpinski and preceded in death his sister Darlene Czop & brother Harvey (Mary) Karpinski. He is survived by his wife Janet Lynn Karpinski of Bowling Green, daughter Karen Karpinski Varner (Jeremy) of Bowling Green, Steven Karpinski (Flor de María) of Fuquay Varina, NC, grandchildren Nathan Karpinski, Noah Karpinski, Griffen Varner, brother-in-law Joseph Czop of St. Clair Shores, MI, and several loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and siblings-in-law. Damien was dedicated to his faith at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, an avid member of the Bowling Green Assembly Corvette Club, loved drag racing at Beech Bend Raceway Park, enjoyed car shows, streetrodding, and above all loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be on Friday April 10, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green from 10:00am to 12:00pm with Father Randy Howard and Father John Paul Mang officiating funeral mass at 12:00pm with cremation to follow.
