David Lee Clayton, 60, of Russellville passed away on Saturday February 15, 2025 at the Medical Center of Russellville.   He was born on July 13, 1964 to the late Alonzo Clayton & Marie Clayton.  He is also preceded in death by a host of siblings.   David is survived by his wife Debra Sue Clayton of Russellville, daughter Denisha Clayton of Bowling Green, daughter Brandy Clayton of Bowling Green, daughter Diane Griffin of Bowling Green, daughter Monica Brown (Jason) of Bowling Green, sister Betty Sydnor (Jason) of Olmstead, sister Stella Cross (Vick) of Allensville, brother Jimmy Clayton (Wanda Sue) of Olmstead, brother Anothny Clayton (Jennifer) of Bowling Green, brother Clifton Clayton of Russellville, sister Nadine Hibitt of Bowling Green, sister Vernie Hayden (David) of Park City, brother Wayne Clayton of Atlanta, GA, brother Lee Bradshaw of Olmstead, sister-in-laws; Lillian Wynn (Robert) of Russellville, Nannette Denouden (John) of Seattle, WA, June Rhea Lewis of Russellville, Melissa Posey of Nashville, TN, Birdie Marable of Russellville, & brother-in-law James "Goat" Posey of Russellville, grandchildren Darian Griffin, Yuri Griffin, Logan Brown, Norah Ward,  Miavah Perez,  1 great grand Zariah Hill, host of Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins.   David was retired as a Captain with the Logan County Detention Center and member of Mariah Grove Baptist Church in Adairville.   He loved his family spending lots of time with the grandchildren.   He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time when not with family.   Visitation will be from 12 to 1 pm on Saturday February 22, 2025 in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Pastor Colby Barnett officiating Services at 1pm with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Russellville.   Food for the repass can be brought to Kirby Funeral Services Russellville which will be after the Cemetery.   Please keep the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
