David Gaines, 61, of Russellville passed away at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green on September 10, 2021.  He is the son of the late Roscoe & Virginia Gaines and also preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Stella Joyce Gaines.  He is survived by His sons John Gaines, Randall Young, Brian Young, Jr. Young, daughter Lisa Rigsby, sister Donna McKinney,  brother Randy Gaines, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.   He was a Boiler maker for many years and loved learning new things daily along with reading.  He also loved baking for everyone.  Visitation will be Monday September 13, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm in the celebration Chapel at Kirby Funeral Services with Cremation to follow.   Burial will be at a later date in Auburn Cemetery.  Online condolences and more can be made at Kirbyfuneralservices.com    Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
