Donna Close, 76, of Bowling Green formerly of Auburn passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2024 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.   She is the daughter of the late Everette & Dorothy Hopkins and also preceded in death by her husband James Frank Close, brother Ray Hopkins, brother Billy Hopkins, & sister Joyce Gains. Donna is survived by her son Tim Hopkins (Tina) of Russellville, son Stacy D. Hunt (Michelle) of Franklin, KY, daughter Karen Hunt (Jason Pitts) of Bowling Green, KY, son Jeff Minnicks ( Michelle) Bowling Green, KY, daughter Crystal Woodward of Russellville, sister Gail Jamrog (Rob) Springfield, TN, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was of the Baptist Faith and spent most of life serving others in many aspects of being a CNA.  Visitation will be on Friday November 8, 2024 from 10am to 1pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro.
