Ernest Wayne Burns, 78, of Russellville passed away December 28, 2022 at North Crest Hospital in Springfield, TN.  He was born January 9, 1944 to the late Earnest Burns & Edith (Leftrick) Burns and also preceded in death by a son Wayne "Dude" Burns, brother Joe Thomas Burns,  brother Ricky Burns, sister Jean Moss, & nephew Bradley Michael Burns. He is survived by his wife Kathy Jane Burns of Russellville, daughter Cynthia Burns of Springfield, TN, stepson David Alan Hall (Jessica) of Springfield, TN, stepson Teddy Wayne Hall of Springfield, TN, brother Michael Burns (Sharon) of Hartsville, TN, 5 grandchildren, & 13 great grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Auburn Church of God and Prophecy.  He loved Alabama Football, playing cards, & to grill burgers. Visitation will be Tuesday January 3, 2022 from 10am to 1pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro.
