Franklin D. Barnes, 79, of Russellville formerly of Adairville passed away on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at his residence.  He was born September 23, 1945 to the late George Frances Barnes & Anna Pearl Barnes.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sue Carolyn Barnes of Russellville, son Joseph Barnes (Angel) of Reno, Nevada, son Anthony Barnes of Charleston, South Carolina, daughter Leslie Martin (Matt) of Russellville, brother John Lee Barnes (Shirley) of Adairville, sister George Ann Lashlee of Nashville, TN, grandchildren; Brittany Martin, Baylee Martin, & Lindsey Barnes.   Franklin retired as a teacher with the Logan County Schools after 32 years.  He loved his family & spending time with his granddaughters.  He was also a member of the Adairville Church of Christ & Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.  Visitation will be Sunday March 16, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro. Scott Harp & Bro.
