John Edward Pugh, 80, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at his residence.  He was the son of the Late Jonathan Wesley Pugh & Johanna (Scott) Pugh.  He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, was a Immigration Officer for many years and retired as a deputy Sheriff.  John is survived by his wife Barbara (Mott) Pugh, son Robert Pugh of Russellville, son Michael Pugh of Clarksville, TN, daughter Traci Gleason (Neil) of Glasgow, KY, sister Ester Davidson of Memphis, TN., grandchildren; Richard Pugh, Jonathan Brown, William Brown, Addison Pugh, Duncan Gleason, Tala Pugh, James Pugh, Keylea Parramore, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.   Visitation will be on Saturday October 22 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Nashville road in Bowling Green from 11am to 12noon and services officiated by Pastor Andy Toopes at 12noon with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville.  Kirby Funeral Services Russellville is in charge of arrangements.  Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
