Lawrence Herndon Piper, 85, of Allensville passed away Saturday December 17, 2022 at Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab.   He was the son of the late Herndon Leland Piper & Ila Louise (Shelton) Piper also preceded in death by a sister Kathryn Stuart & brother Douglas Piper.  He is survived by his son Ralph Piper (Kathy) of Cromwell, son Dodd Piper (Marsha) of Bowling Green, daughter Alicia Landreth (Jason) of Simpsonville, Bryan Piper (DeAna) of Keysburg, daughter Debralee Shrode of Russellville, brother Donald Piper of Russellville, sister Louise Whalen (Jim) of Charlotte, NC, sister-in-law Charlene Piper of Olmstead, Grandchildren; Dusty, Madison, Danielle, Ashley, Nick, Emily, Lauren, Bryanna, Nathan, Brooke, Anna, William, & several great grandchildren.  He was a avid farmer, loved to wheel and deal, & enjoyed his greenhouse.   He was a faithful member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.  Visitation will be Tuesday form 10am to 1pm with Brother Kenny Chyle officiating the service at 1pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Online Condolences & more can be made at Kirbyfuneralservices.com.  Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
