Loretta Kay Batten, 83 of Russellville passed asway on Monday October 30, 2023 at Chandlers Memory Care in Bowling Green.  She was the daughter of the late Walter Hartner and Alta Hartner also preceded in death by a son Scott Paul Batten in 2013.  She is survived by her loving husband George Paul Batten of Russellville, son Douglas Geroge Batten (Leslie) of Russellville, sister Janice Shelton of West Moreland, Kansas, sister Joyce Harness of West Moreland, Kansas, and grandchildren; Chris Batten, Brittany Harper, Lauren Batten, & Zane Batten.  Loretta was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Fremont, Nebraska and a member of BETA SIGMI PHI.  Cremation was chosen under the direction of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville.  Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
