Obituary

Marion Thomas Hyams, 80, of Russellville passed away Friday December 13, 2024, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.   He was born February 29th, 1944, to the late Richard & Hessie Hyams also preceded in death by his sisters Virgina Stokes, Agnes Eden, Betty Castile, Caroyln Speidel, brothers Joe Hyams & Elmer Hyams.  He is survived by his wife Merrena Hyams, daughter Teresa Montoya, daughter Shelly McMaster (Craig), son Jewell Ray Mathias (Carla), son Marty Marshall (Sue Carol), brother Morris Hyams, brother Terry Hyams, sister-in-law Barbara Hyams, 13 grandchildren, 26 great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.   He was Deputy for the Logan County Sheriff's department for several years, owned and operated Logan County Glass and Hyams Auto Sales, loved working on Clocks, collecting case knifes, and many other trades. Visitation will be Monday December 16th from 10am to 2pm with Brother Kenny Chyle, Brother Gene Bush and Brother Marty Marshall officiating funeral services at 2pm in the Chapel at Kirby Funeral Services with burial to follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Greater Life Church envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Online condolences and more can be made at kirbyfuneralservices.com.
