Meredith Herndon Elliott Jr. 82 of Russellville passed away on Tuesday December 30, 2025, at Creekwood Nursing & Rehab.   He was born January 31, 1943, to the late Meredith Herdon Elliott Sr. & Holverston Elliott also preceded in death by his devoted companion Georgia Ann Posey, brothers; Lavughn Elliott & Lester Ray Elliot, stepchildren; Alan Ray Posey, Anthony Posey, Myra Posey, Alfreda Posey.   He is survived by his daughter Sue Posey Kendrick of Russellville, daughter Lisa Gormon (Perry) of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Zariah Isreal (Yisreal) of Frankfort, son Quinton Posey of Russellville, son Ricky Belamy of Russellville, sister Savannah Darden (Charlie) of Nashville, sister Annie Elizabeth Miles (Roosevelt) of Russellville, brother Regnald Elliott (Dorothy Jean) of Adairville, brother Norton Elliott of Russellville, brother Lamberson Elliott of Russellville, brother Christopher Elliott of Russellville, host of Grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.   Meredith was a member of Townsend Grove Baptist Church. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He farmed most of his working days. Meredith was hardworking man that loved playing baseball in his younger days, watching Western Movies, and listening to music.   Visitation will be from 12 noon on Saturday at Townsend Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Woodson officiating services at 1pm with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.  Kirby Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements and online register book can be found online at our website.  Please keep the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
