Rex Christopher Oakes, 57, of the Daysville Community passed away on July 5, 2022 at his residence.  He is survived by his parents Johnny Bob Oakes & Gloria (Edwards) Oakes, Brother Ben Kirtley Oakes,   2 nieces; Ashton Oakes Dawson (John Dockins), Caitlin Oakes Turner (Devin), great nieces and nephews; Kirtley Oakes Dawson, John Tinsley Dawson, Merritt Belle Dawson, Linden Blake Turner, & Laura Katherine Turner. Rex loved his cattle and to work with them also known as the Mayor of Daysville.  Visitation will be Thursday July 7 ^th in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 5 to 8 pm and from 9am to 10am Friday July 8 ^th with Bro.
