Robert Eugene Imlay Sr., 72, of Russellville passed away Thursday January 18, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  He was born January 19, 1951 to the late Forrest Eugene Imlay & Ethel Inez Whittemore Imlay and also preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Gearhart.   He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Sue Farmer Imlay, son Robert Imlay Jr. (Corinna) of Russellville, son James Ray Imlay of Russellville, daughter Karen Moore (Don) of Russellville, sister Ester Marie Tate of Hartsville, TN,  sister Evelyn McClanahan of Indianapolis, IN, Cousin Doris Vick of Russellville, grandchildren; Jordan, Madison, Scott, Courtney, Alison, Jennifer, Stephanie, Savannah, Sidda, and Ben.  3 great grandchildren. Robert was transportation manager for Griffin Industries for many years.  He was a faithful member of Post Oak Baptist Church and served as a deacon.  Robert was an avid UK fan and loved automobiles and spending time with his family.  Visitation will be Monday January 22, 2024 from 4 to 8pm and from 9am to 1pm Tuesday with Bro. Nick Stamps officiating services at 1pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with burial to follow In Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.   Online register book and more information can be found at www.kirbyfuneralservices.com  Please keep the family and friends in your prayers.
