Royce Houchens, 69, of Russellville passed away on March 10, 2022 at Owensboro Regional. He was born in Logan County on February 16, 1953 to the late Lamuel Houchens and Roberta (Holeman) Houchens. He was a member of Center Baptist Church,    an avid farmer in Logan County, and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Hightower) Houchens; his daughters Amy Simmons, Laura Christmas and Sunny Cornett (Murphy); Brothers, Lloyd Houchens, Donnie Houchens, Beverly Ray Houchens, J  R Houchens, Carlos Houchens and Joey Houchens; Grandchildren, Bruce Cornett, C.W. Simmons, Ava Powell, Dallas Simmons, Zachariah Cornett, Trent Cornett, Ruby Jane Cornett, Cade Christmas; Great Grandchildren, Liam Simmons, Theo Powell. Visitation will be Saturday, March 12 from 5 to 8 and Sunday from 11 to 2 at Kirby Funeral Services Russellville   . Funeral services will be conducted byBro. Gary Chapman & Bro.
