Sharon Denise Raymer
Sharon Denise Raymer, age 64, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 6, 1961, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Sharon lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and unwavering perseverance. Raised on a family farm, she left school after the ninth grade to help support her family through farm work. Her strong work ethic remained a defining characteristic throughout her life. Sharon later worked at Auburn Leather, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring.
Sharon's greatest joy in life was the family she built and nurtured. She often said that her children and grandchildren were her greatest achievement, and anyone who knew her understood how deeply she loved them. Whether attending their activities, spending time together, or simply sharing stories and laughter, she treasured every moment with her family.
She was known for her loving and caring nature, her perseverance through life's challenges, and a charming stubbornness that endeared her to those who loved her. Sharon enjoyed watching hummingbirds, spending time with her beloved Yorkshire terriers, making crafts, and doing anything that involved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Walt Raymer; her daughter, Tamber (Jason) Holloway; her sons, Dakota (Jen) Montgomery and Matthew (Marissa) Montgomery; her stepdaughter, Bobbiann (Jon) Victory; her stepson, Lee (Michelle) Raymer; her sister, Nelda (Jimmy) Dillard; her brothers, Glenn (Judy) Haley, Marty (Clyda) Haley, and Eddie Haley; and her cherished grandchildren, Haley Holloway, Kaylee Victory, Kaiden McCrary, Kaiden Holloway, LJ Raymer, Shelby Victory, Mekhi Barbee, Tahlia Montgomery, Kimber Holloway, Madison Raymer, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
She also was eagerly awaiting the birth of her eleventh grandchild, Grayden Montgomery, in August.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Haley and Josephine Haley, and her brothers, Darryl Wayne Haley and George Haley.
Above all else, Sharon was proud of her family. The love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
