Virginia Lynn "Ginny" Thompson, 62, of Gadsden, TN formerly of Russellville passed away on August 8, 2022.  She is the daughter of the late Joe Neal Thompson & Alma Gean Thompson.  She was born in Russellville in 1959.  She was baptized at Liberty Baptist Church many years ago and was a Christian.  She loved collecting things, enjoyed time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her children Robert Yell of Russellville, KY,  Jonathan Carlisle of Woodburn, KY, David Carlisle of Florida, brother Jeff Thompson of TN, Phillip Thompson of Glasgow, KY, Pam Thompson of Auburn, KY, grandchildren; Saralynn Yell of Russellville, KY, Joseph Carlisle of Auburn, KY, Lucian Carlisle of Bowling Green, KY, Layla Carlisle of Auburn, KY, and great grand daughter Paisley Jackson of TN.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Debbie Robertson, sister Kay Lyons, brother Joe Earl Thompson, & Grandson Cameron David Yell.  Visitation will be Sunday September 18, 2022 with a Celebration of Life service at 4pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville.  Online condolences and more can be made at Kirbyfuneralservices.com
