Arthur “Art” Gordon Tinsley, 77, of Bowling Green passed away at his residence on January 2, 2024. He was born to the late Arthur Gordon Tinsley Sr. & Anna (Gast) Tinsley also preceded in death by sisters Joanna Tinsley McCormick & Jeanette Tinsley Bond. Art was the owner of Arts Auto Mart in Bowling Green by the Corvette Museum with a passion for classic cars for over 22 years. He is survived by his companion of 30 years Darla Rainwaters Tinsley, daughter Karren Tinsley Quinn (Jerrod) of South Carolina, daughter Melissa Tinsley of Louisville, KY, daughter Laura Dulworth (Jaymes) of Russellville, daughter Robin Woods of Florida, sister Mary Lou Meyer (Leonard) of Louisville, sister Angela Tinsley Denham of Louisville, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Saturday January 6, 2024 from 10am to 2pm with Brother Arno Kranz officiating services at 2pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with burial to follow in Marshall Cemetery.
