Betty Dean Obituary

Betty Lou Dean, 83, of Russellville passed away at her home on February 1, 2022.  She was born in Cross Plains, TN to the late Gilliam & Lizzy (Rust) Poole.  She is preceded in death by her husband Elzie Dean & a son Earl Ray Cox.  She was a Christian, loved her family, loved to sew, and quilting.  She is survived by son Jeffery Dean of Russellville, daughters; Connie Powell of Russellville, Nancy Johnson of Ohio, Barbara Keaton of Elkton, Debbie Spencer of Clarkson, KY, Brothers; Walter Poole of Russellville,  Nolan Poole of Bowling Green, Clifford Poole of Auburn, Herman Poole of Auburn, & Ralph Poole of Bucksville, sisters; Rosie Pirtle of Decatur, IL, Frances Rainwater of Morgantown, KY, Viola Zeller of Dayton, OH, Dorothy Mullen of Auburn, Marilyn Harrison of Russellville, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.   Visitation will be Saturday February 5th from 11am to 2pm with Craig Skipworth officiating funeral services at 2pm in the Celebration of life Chapel at Kirby Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.  Online condolences and more can be made at kirbyfuneralservices.com
