Earl Ray Boyd

Earl Ray Boyd Sr., 72 of Russellville passed away at Greenview regional Hospital in Bowling Green on Saturday September 16, 2023.  He was born on February 15, 1951 to the late Melvin Ray Boyd & Eva (Price) Boyd.  He was also preceded in death by 2 sons Infant William Boyd & Jeffery Boyd Sr., daughter Michelle Barrow, granddaughter infant Eva Rose Boyd, 3 sisters Jean Lyons, Sharon Scott, & Gale Gann.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years Theresa (Lacefield) Boyd, 5 children Crystal Boyd (Paul Bellar) of Russellville, Denise Boyd of Russellville, Terri Abney (Harley) of Russellville, Ray Boyd Jr. (Tina White) of Russellville, Darrell Stultz of Russellville, brother Roger Boyd of Russellville, sister Carolyn Boggs of Russellville, sister Betty Peacock of Shepherdsville, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.  He was a member of Little Freedom Baptist Church.  He worked in a brickyard, car wash in Louisville, KY, Hinkle Chair Company in Springfield, TN, working construction, working tobacco hay for many farmers in Logan County.  He loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, and most of all riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.  Visitation will be on Thursday September 21 in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 3 to 8 pm and from 9am to 1pm Friday with services at 1pm with Bro.
