Ruth Elaine Suarez

Ruth Elaine (Bond) Suarez, 91, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday November 1, 2023 at Auburn Nursing Facility in Auburn, KY.  She was born on February 29, 1932 to the late George & Jennie (Williams) Bond and also preceded in death by a brother Mendell Bond of Russellville, brother Morris Bond of Auburn, and sister Louise Dillihay of Louisville.   She is survived by her son Dalton Thompson of Russellville, brother Sidney Bond of Russellville, brother Roy Bond (Betty) of Russellville, Boyd Bond (Norita) of Russellville, sister Barbara Thompson of Russellville, and several nieces and nephews.   She was a faithful member of Epley Baptist Church and played the organ there for many years.  She worked for Bank of America in Long Branch California for 20 years where she loved to play golf, then in Dallas, Oregon for 5 years before returning to Russellville as an Auditor for Citizens Bank.  Visitation will be Saturday November 4, 2023 from 10am to 2pm in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Bro.
