Shirley Gene Thomas

Shirley Gene Thomas, 77, of Russellville passed away on Friday November 11, 2022 at Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab in Russellville.   Shirley was born January 28, 1945 in Logan County to the late Herbert & Lena (Taylor) Thomas.  Shirley loved the outdoors and was a member of Duncans Chapel Methodist Church.  He is survived by his sister Nancy Vick of Russellville, brother Wendall Thomas of Russellville, sister Kathy Beasley (Bob) of Auburn, brother Murrell Thomas (Gloria) of Russellville, brother Herbert Thomas of Auburn, many many nieces & nephews. He is also preceded in death by siblings; Helen Hanson, Alvin Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Dorothy Coleman, Sam Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Gary Richard Thomas, & Donald Ray Thomas.  Visitation will be on Monday November 14^th from 4 to 8pm and Tuesday from 10am to 1pm in the Chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with Funeral Services at 1pm with burial to follow in Duncans Chapel Cemetery.   Online condolences and more can be made at Kirby Funeral Services.com
